Sample inspection report

A redacted preview that shows how we structure findings, how severity chips work, and what a buyer can realistically rely on.

Limitations and non-guarantee

What this inspection can verify—and what it cannot

We perform a visual and mechanical assessment, then present findings in a redacted sample structure. This helps you decide what to ask next, what to monitor, and which items may need deeper diagnostics.

Surface and access limits

We can only assess what is reachable and observable. Hidden corrosion, internal issues, and sealed components may not be fully detectable without disassembly or specialized testing.

  • Exterior condition may differ from underbody condition.
  • Evidence can be incomplete due to grime, covers, or restricted access.

No guarantee of future reliability

A report is not a warranty and cannot promise that an issue will not develop after the inspection. Severity chips reflect observed condition at the time of assessment, not future outcomes.

Green = OK / Passed
Amber = Attention / Review
Red = Critical (only in the report mock)

Mechanical testing boundaries

We may test systems within normal operating conditions, but we cannot replicate every load scenario, ECU history, or manufacturer test procedure. Some faults are intermittent and may not appear during the visit.

  • Intermittent warning lights may not be captured.
  • Symptoms can change with temperature, driving habits, or time.

Redaction and example scope

The sample report structure uses redacted placeholders. Your final report will be based on your specific vehicle, the photos taken, and the checks performed during your inspection.

Seller question checklist

Use this list during calls or at pickup to clarify what your report means, what is confirmed by evidence, and what needs a second look.

Scope match

“Which items did you notice yourself before the inspection, and which did you only learn about from the report?”

Repairs and parts

“If anything was repaired, what was replaced, and do you have receipts or photos with dates?”

Fluid and service history

“Can you confirm service dates for oil, filters, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid (where applicable)?”

Ownership timeline

“How many owners have you had, and were there any long storage periods or major changes in how the car was used?”

Warning lights

“Were any warning lights on recently, and what happened immediately before or after they appeared?”

Driving behavior

“Does the car pull, vibrate, or brake differently compared with similar cars, and when do you notice it most?”

Accident clarity (limitations-aware)

“What do you know about prior repairs, and which parts are confirmed by documentation versus visual observations?”

Evidence you can share

“Can you share the photos you took before listing, plus any workshop notes tied to the same locations the report mentions?”

Service constraints

“Are there parts you did not allow us to test, and what’s the reason?”

Next steps

“If the report suggests further review, what would you be willing to provide or re-check before we finalize the purchase?”

Service results guidance

Your report is evidence-based and limited to what can be inspected during the session. If a seller’s answer conflicts with the observed findings, treat the report as the anchor and ask for documentation or a focused re-check.

Review report limitations

Ask about your vehicle

Tell us what you’re considering, and we’ll point you to the right checklist before you book.

  • VIN or listing link
  • What you’re worried about (noise, leaks, title history)
  • Where you’re located so timing can be realistic

Important limitations

This service helps you evaluate condition and risk using the inspection we can perform. It doesn’t guarantee future reliability, hidden damage, or the full history of ownership.

Request a booking scope

We’ll use your details to recommend the right inspection focus.

After you submit, you’ll be redirected to a thank-you page.

By sending this request, you confirm you’re asking about a pre-buy vehicle check and booking scope.
